RPG Group firm KEC International just hit the jackpot with transmission and distribution (T&D) projects worth ₹1,133 crore in India. The company proudly announced that they snagged a sweet deal from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) to construct an 800 kV HVDC Transmission line and a 765 kV GIS Substation. But wait, there’s more – they also scored another order from a private developer to set up a 400 kV Quad Transmission line. Talk about hitting the big leagues!

Not really sure why this matters, but KEC International’s MD and CEO, Vimal Kejriwal, seems pretty pumped about the whole situation. He’s all like, “We maintain a strong and optimistic outlook on the sector’s growth, driven by the country’s accelerating energy demands and the government’s firm commitment to expanding renewable energy and strengthening transmission infrastructure. These orders will play a pivotal role in driving our targeted growth going forward.” Sounds like they’re ready to take on the world with these projects in their pocket.

KEC International isn’t messing around when it comes to their presence in the industry. They’re dabbling in power transmission & distribution, civil, transportation, renewables, oil & gas pipeline, and cable verticals. With a footprint in over 110 countries, they’re definitely making their mark on a global scale. And let’s not forget about RPG Enterprises, the powerhouse behind KEC International. Established in 1979, this business group is making waves in the industry with a whopping turnover of $4.8 billion. Looks like these guys are here to stay and play with the big boys for a long time to come.
