Magicpin’s quick commerce arm, magicNOW, is expected to play a significant role in the company’s food delivery business this fiscal year, according to a top official. Anshoo Sharma, the Founder and CEO of magicpin, disclosed that magicNOW, which was launched in September 2024, currently contributes 13 per cent to the overall food delivery business. He expressed confidence in the growth of magicNOW, stating that they are on track to increase its contribution to 20 per cent by the end of the financial year.
Expansion plans for magicNOW have been aggressive, with services now available in 20 high-density cities, up from the initial 6 metros. Sharma highlighted the impressive performance of magicNOW, noting a 10 per cent higher monthly retention rate compared to the platform’s average. The response from both consumers and restaurant partners, particularly local merchants, has been overwhelmingly positive. The company intends to focus on further developing this high-growth vertical to capitalize on the momentum.
